About us

Famla Form was founded in Stockholm, Sweden in 2020. We design and produce furniture, lighting and other objects based on a Nordic design tradition.

The Swedish word “famla” means something like “to search for” or “trying to find”, and is sometimes used in the phrase “famla efter formen”, meaning that one is trying to be at its best, sometimes succeeding and sometimes not, but always striving forward. So the name symbolizes our ambition to experiment, look in new directions and to find new things that inspire us. Hopefully you will be inspired, too!
